My latest personal web project is the site for my upcoming wedding, meaganandtrevor.com. The site design is inspired by the save the dates, designed by Les Cotton. I created a simple one-page site that scrolls through our story, the wedding party, and the guest information.
The main purpose of the site is for guests to get the info they need about the wedding, so instead of creating a fully responsive site, I only display the guest info section on mobile. That way on the day of the event, guests can easily access maps, directions, and other info from their devices.
Playing with the Github API
After seeing this Codepen earlier this week, I decided to play around with the Github API and see what I could come up with.
I created a site that spools out my code pulled from Github, creating a hacker type look with green monospace text on a black background. I’m not sure about the large amount of looping going on, but performance seems to be fine.
